In this project of comprehensive rehabilitation, a complete renovation of the lobby was carried out, a key space for the first impression of any building. The main objective was to modernize and improve the functionality of the lobby, ensuring both the durability and aesthetics of the space.
Demolition and Space Preparation
The project began with the demolition of the existing pavement and the grip material, as well as the intermediate step and the steps of the staircase leading to the first floor. This phase was crucial to prepare the lobby for the structural and aesthetic improvements that would be made later.
Paving and Ramp Formation
The formation of a construction ramp, which was paved with ivory cream marble pieces. To ensure the safety of users, especially on the interior ramp, non-slip rods, were incorporated. Additionally, a doormat was placed at the entrance, thus completing a comfortable and safe access.
Floor and Wall Improvement
The project included the lowering, polishing, and buffing the terrazzo floor on the upper floor and in the elevator boarding area, restoring the original shine to the material and improving the overall aesthetics of the space.
On the vertical surfaces, a new skirting board was formed by installing porcelain tiles in 60x30 format, which not only provide a modern and clean finish but are also easy to maintain, ensuring their durability in a high-traffic area.
Lighting and Finishes
The interior lighting was completely renovated with the incorporation of indirect LED lighting, which significantly enhances the atmosphere of the lobby, providing soft and energy-efficient light.
New mailboxes were also supplied and installed, designed to complement the new style of the lobby while remaining functional and accessible for residents., diseñados para complementar el nuevo estilo del vestíbulo, al mismo tiempo que se mantuvieron funcionales y accesibles para los residentes.
Finally, a decorative coating was applied to the interior walls and ceilings, giving the lobby an elegant and modern finish that reflects the quality of the rehabilitation carried out.
